Lucie's First Haircut!

Lucie got her first haircut this weekend. It was an exciting morning for us (tear)! She sat on daddy's lap and got a trim in the back (had a little mullet going) and some bangs cut. She looks like a little toddler now and is growing so fast.

Not so sure about this...

We ended up giving her yogurt treats so that did the trick.

We took advantage of the warmer weather and made a snowman today. After I took this picture she proceeded to take out the carrot and take bites.

She is now drinking out of a "big girl" cup.

We got the ok to give her peanut butter so she loves it on toast with jam.

Lucie has been a busy little bee lately. Into everything, climing on everything, etc. Wow. Here are a couple of recent pictures.

Happy Holidays from Lucie!

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Big Sky, Montana, for Christmas. We visited Auntie Kari and Karl with my family and had a great time!

Reading "The Night Before Christmas" with daddy. Grandma Dee and Grandpa Bob recorded themselves reading it so that was a nice surprise!

She got some wonderful presents.

We enjoyed mass outside this year, by the fire pit at Moonlight Lodge.

First try sitting with Santa. A bit scary....

Karl even gave it a try by dressing up, but she didn't like it any better the second time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCIE!!

This past weekend we celebrated Lucie's 1st birthday. It was a lot of fun, filled with friends and family and lots of treats! She loved her poodle cake and had fun playing with her cousins and friend Julia. It has taken her a couple of days to catch up on sleep but I think we are finally getting back on schedule.

Lucie's 1st Halloween

We had a great month of October preparing for Lucie's 1st Halloween. We went to the pumpkin patch with CeCe, Annie and Ollie, carved pumpkins at home and with Grandma Carol. She had a ton of fun wearing her costume and trick or treating. Enjoy!

She kept digging into the candy bucket, and Michael caught her with her mouth full. Not eating it, of course, still in wrapper.

She helped daddy clean out the pumpkin and got a little taste of it, too. :)

Lucie is 10 months old!

After a week of Lucie being sick and getting 3 new top teeth in, we have definitely enjoyed this week of good health and the lovely fall weather. We have been taking advantage of the warmer weather by trying to be outside when we can. She loves to play with the mini pumpkins we grew in our garden, as seen below.

She starting taking steps last week and this week has gotten a lot better! She gets very excited when she makes it for a long stretch.

She likes to play dress up. What a ham.

We all laugh at her love for dogs. Wherever we go if she hears dogs barking she barks back.
