Trip to Bozeman

Lucie and I took at trip to see Kari with my parents in the beginning of September. We saw a lot of wildlife, camped, and just had a great old time! Here are some pictures from our trip.

Lucie loved this little ride.

Some New Discoveries.....

Lucie doesn't like dirt.

She loves Candyland and kisses with cousin Annie.

I can't get this picture to turn, but as you can see Lucie has now found that she can put her finger up her nose. Once in a while she'll remember and do it again, but she will just sit and wait for a reaction. She put both fingers in each side at one time for Auntie Kari, and we couldn't contain ourselves at that point!

Lucie loves her daddy. He gave her a boat ride on Father's Day.

Still loving "Dixie," and taking her for "horsie rides."

Still loves baths and her new hairdo from Auntie Kari.

We found that she loves corn on the cob, too.

Lucie loves playing in the pool with her Grand Rapids pals, CeCe and Blair.

Spring Mega Post

We have been waiting for the sun to come and have been doing our best to keep busy with the rainy days doing crafts, music, and plenty of giggling. This past week we were lucky to be able to spend time with Auntie Kari in Grand Rapids. She goes back to Bozeman tomorrow and we are going to miss her so much!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mommies!

Blair got baptized and was throwing kisses the whole time!

Throwing the balls for Rowdy and Jack, grandma and grandpa's dogs.

Playing peekabo!

Lucie can't get enough of "Dix" or Dixie Queen (her real name). Any time we ask her what her name is she says "Dix." Auntie Kari helped her pet Dix.

Lucie found Grandma Carols flower beds and was busy for about 25 minutes making a pile of dirt, dumping it out, over and over.

We were in Brainerd on Sunday to say goodbye to Auntie Kari.

Reading with Grandma...

Uncle Erik being silly, as always.

Lucie's First Haircut!
Lucie got her first haircut this weekend. It was an exciting morning for us (tear)! She sat on daddy's lap and got a trim in the back (had a little mullet going) and some bangs cut. She looks like a little toddler now and is growing so fast.

Not so sure about this...

We ended up giving her yogurt treats so that did the trick.

We took advantage of the warmer weather and made a snowman today. After I took this picture she proceeded to take out the carrot and take bites.

She is now drinking out of a "big girl" cup.

We got the ok to give her peanut butter so she loves it on toast with jam.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Lucie has been a busy little bee lately. Into everything, climing on everything, etc. Wow. Here are a couple of recent pictures.

Dressed up as a ballerina for daddy on Valentine's Day.

Likes to push, kiss, and hug her "dolly."

Always wants me to put gloves on her hands (don't mind the Xmas tree in the background this was a while ago)...

and hats too.

Happy Holidays from Lucie!
We just returned from a wonderful trip to Big Sky, Montana, for Christmas. We visited Auntie Kari and Karl with my family and had a great time!

Reading "The Night Before Christmas" with daddy. Grandma Dee and Grandpa Bob recorded themselves reading it so that was a nice surprise!

She got some wonderful presents.

We enjoyed mass outside this year, by the fire pit at Moonlight Lodge.

First try sitting with Santa. A bit scary....

Karl even gave it a try by dressing up, but she didn't like it any better the second time!

Lucie's first time skiing!

A lesson from Auntie Kari.

Daddy taught her a couple of things, too.

Cousin Blair loved the snow, too.
